To implement the idea, you need a board in a couple of centimeters thick, and a flat magnet. And if the board is still on the other hand with a notch, it is generally excellent - the main thing is to find a magnet of the desired form. Such a magnet I found in the local flea market. Red price to him in a market day - 50 rubles. The magnet is flat, in the form of a ring - it can be easily attached on the back side of the board. If there is no holes - it does not matter. You can wipe off the deepening, break the magnet into several parts, and glue all parts to the tree in the deepening with some super-glue.
The blackboard itself with the magnet attached on the reverse side must be attached to the wall in the kitchen. This can be done if you drift just one hole in the board center. Screwing, which you insert into this hole, will pass through the board, and through the central hole in the magnet, securing the entire design. It remains only to lean the knife to the board - and it is not going anywhere. If you have a slight deepening, then it is better to hang the board on two loops.
