We bring to your attention an interesting idea of creating an original tablecloth for a festive dinner, which will make a new year's meeting of an elegant, magical and a little fabulous. If you, at first glance, it seems that such a New Year's tablecloth is complicated in execution, then responsibly declare you that you will master this technique in a few minutes if you carefully examine the master class.
Required materials and tools:
- Different colored fabrics are about 9 species;
- Wide durable fabric - 150x115 cm;
- Wide blanket from batting;
- tape with pomp - 4 m;
- threads;
- patchwork;
- large pins;
- transparent line;
- handle, pencil or chalk;
- Iron and ironing board;
- scissors;
- roulette;
- sewing machine.
Cut out the details of the tablecloth
So that you have such a New Year's tablecloth with your own hands, use our template with blocks for example. Of the various types of fabric, cut the following: 24 squares 13x13 cm, two rectangles 24,5х13 cm, one rectangle 24,5х13 cm, two rectangles 24,5х13 cm. From durable fabric you need to cut the following: 14 squares 13x13 cm, 4 rectangle 13x7 cm, 1 Rectangle 60x115 cm. From Wattin cut one rectangoline 60x115 cm.
Stitch blocks
Each block consists of four squares. Take the first pair and fold them with the front parties together. Stretch on the sewing machine. Repeat with the second pair of squares. To complete the block, fold the squares together and push along the untreated edge. Repeat to create a second block. Two blocks B and C are also of four squares. Sust them in the same way as the blocks of A. Blocks D consist of two squares of 13x13 cm. Fold them together and step along the side seam. Two E blocks consist of one square 13x13 cm and two 13x7 cm. Single to one square 13x7 cm on the sides of two squares 13x13 cm. Block F consists of three rectangles 24,5х13 cm. In blocks G two non-stitched identical rectangles 24,5х13 cm .

Assembly
Collect blocks A and one G and stir them together. Sust together: two b blocks and one G block. Rows 5-4 - Collect four C blocks and two D blocks. Row 3: Collect two E blocks and one F block. Collect all the lines from the bottom up. Fold the details together, aligning the seams so that they are combined. Stretch on the sewing machine. Continue to sew all five lines in the same way. On the involving side, start and discover the seams.
Send ribbon
Take 4 meters tape with pompoms. Starting from the middle of one hand and leaving a few cm free, sew the ribbon to the edge of the tablecloth. In the end, cut off the tape superfluous and worst the ends together, as shown in the photo.
Sew batting and tablecloth
Place the batting on the working surface, and from above - a detail with pompons. Secure the needles. Cut extra from batting. Put the durable tissue back, so that the part with the pumps is between the layers. Stretch on the sewing machine around, leaving a small hole. Remove the tablecloth and squeeze the corners. Hole hole manually. Put the tablecloth with quilted lines through all layers on the front and reverse side. Follow the finished New Year's tablecloth and cover the festive table!
