Among the manifolds of napkins, lace napkins always deserve special attention. They are such elegant, striking us with their intricate fabulous patterns. Knit the like - great art. But I found very simple for you, at the same time, interesting schemes of lace napkins with crochet, they can be used not just in the house decoration, but also as serving napkins.
For those who are not very friendly with the schemes, for beginners, I made a description of knitting such lace napkins.

The photo shows a set of round lace napkins with a crochet bound. One large napkin and several napkins are smaller.On a serving table, these lace napkins will be wonderfully watching, small can be posed under cups or plates, and large - under a vase with candy or fruit. The napkins are made in white with a small design with contrasting threads, but if desired, of course, you can use any other color.

And I chosen by me the set, about which I am now talking, just very much reminds such knitting in the part of the Kaima, only here is used another more familiar principle of knitting.
Cute little flowers are decorated with napkin, similar to violets.
What to use threads for knitting? Here is the case when it would be better to knit from the coil threads for sewing, then the napkins will be thin, openwork and elegant. I would do that.

But such a knitting is quite laborious, beginners especially to knit hard, and for the use of napkins in the table serving, it is possible in principle, to tie them out of yarn thoroughly. In any case, this is of course cotton yarn.

9 -16 rows: similar to the 8th, only the number of columns in each row changes, this is clearly visible in the diagram.
17th row: stretch the thread connected to the last column from the group, 3VP, 4C1N, 10 VP, * 5C1N, 10VP *.
18th row: knit in reverse order (turn the product), 3VP, 15C1N under the arch, * 1SBN to the middle column of the previous row, 16c1n *, 1SBN.

On this we complete the knitting of the middle part of the lace napkin.
Next, we need to tie the flowers, the kaima and combine them with the middle part.
Knitting Flowers for Lace Napkin
All flowers knit separately, and when knitting the last row of each of them, connect with a central round of a crochet wipe.8 VP connect to the ring.
1st row: 3VP, 14 C1N.
2nd row: 12 VP, 1SBN in the 6th Stage of the 1st Row, 10 VP, 1SBN in the 11th Stage of the 1st Row, 10 VP.
Turn the knitting and knit petals.
3rd range: 2VP, 13C1N, 1SBN (under the first army), 1SBN, 13C1N, 1SBN (under the second and third arches).
When putting the arches for the third petal we connect it with a napkin.
To do this, we do as follows: Linking the 7th Stage with Nakid, insert one air loop, remove the hook from the flower and insert it into the medium-sized hinge of one of the student of the central part of the napkins, pick up the air loop from the flower, 1 connecting column, 1 VP, 1 connecting to our 7th column with an attachment on a flower petal. Then continue to knit the rest of the columns.
Thus, we connect every new flower with another cloth with a napkin.
Flowers can do everything white, or all contrasting color, or as in the photo alternate colors according to your taste.
Knitting Kite Lace Napkin
Now we proceed to the final stage - knitting our lace border.
By the 5th column, if you count on the left (see the scheme) of the first petal of any flower attaching the thread.
1st row: 2VP, 9SBN over each pillar of petals, 8VP, 10SBN already in the second flower columns and so on.
2nd row: 5VP, 1C1N in the third column over the petal, 2VP, 1C1N in the next third column, 2VP, 1C1N to the last column over the first flower, 8VP and so on, knit all the flowers.

3-4 y rows: 3VP, 7C1N, 2VP, * 8C1N, 2VP *. See if knitting begins to pull, it may be worth adding to the 1st air looping in the 4th row.
5th row: 3VP, 7C1N, 10VP, * 8C1N, 10VP *.
6th row: Knitting turn. 3VP, 15S1N in an army from 10VP of the previous series, 1SBN in the middle between the columns of the previous row, * 16c1n to the next army, 1SBN *.
7th row: we are taking the resulting festo to the columns without Nakid (at the beginning of the 2VP). It will beautifully use here a thread of contrasting color if the flowers are connected.
If you add all parts of the napkin, then we get 31 row, that is, our lace napkin will be medium in size, I can not specify exactly.
Tie a few round lace napkins in the first diagram. Usually for serving kit you need at least 6 pieces.

Larger napkins can also be associated several if desired.
