What to choose yarn for knitting napkins

The hook is chosen accordingly the thickness of the thread. This is done by the method: if you take a very thin hook, it will be hard to knit thick yarn, it is almost impossible. Crochet with a very large number will get too breathing napkin.
A hook with a number 2 - 2.5 is suitable for knitting a dense napkin. But, again, I repeat, do not follow the strict thing that is written. Try, choose the option as it seems more convenient.
It is better to start choosing the simplest crochet napkin schemes.
Crochet-knit small napkins can be used as a stand under wine glasses, cups. White or multicolored napkins will look good in the table serving.
Well, in the future, it is better to use thin cotton coil threads to knit openwork napkins, such as used for sewing (№0-10). Of these, the product will be gentle and air.
The hook in this case should also be taken with the smallest number 0.5 or 1.
You can still knit napkins from the thicker cotton yarn type iris, violet and others, the hook is suitable with a number 1.2-1.5.

one . Knitting a round napkin always starts from her center: from a set of a chain of air loops. (Conventionally denotes VP). In the diagram, air loops are designated in the form of a small looper or a small circle (point).
For this napkin, knit a chain of 12 air loops.
Then we connect the first and last loop with a semi-solol, to get a ring.
Knit a napkin in a circle in one direction to the right left.
2. . Knitting of each row usually begins with a set of multiple air loops, it is necessary to lift the row to be smooth, and not bevelled and curved . The required amount of loops is indicated in the scheme.
In this case, in the first row, knit 3 air loops (VP) for lifting.
The following icon in the scheme is the following icon indicates a column with a 1-blade. But I decided to knit two Caida, so on my description will be different from the scheme. But this is not fundamentally, it is possible with one, and with two nakids knit. And the designation of C2N means two columns with two nakids.
We link the ring according to the diagram of 32 posts with two caps. The hook we introduce inside the ring.
The last column we connect with a chain of 3 air loops (VP) scored at the beginning of a row, semi-solitary (PS).
3. . The remaining rows knit, looking at the scheme

In the second row : 3 Air loops (VP), 4 columns with two Nakida (C2H) in each column of the previous row and so on.
Here I was a little mistaken and only three columns tied at the beginning of a row.
To combine the last loop of the row from the first, as it usually happens when knitting the napkins, it is not necessary. Starting from the third row to the 6th in this napkin, air hinges at the beginning of the row perform not only the role of row lifting, but also element of the pattern, i.e. A smooth transition from the previous row to the next one occurs.

3rd row: We alternate 4 air loops (VP) and 6 columns with 2 nakida (C2N). We look at the scheme that when knitting the mid-4-bills, the hook must be administered in the base of the previous row columns, and the first and sixth column knitting, introducing a hook under the chain of the previous row air loops.
4th row : We alternate 5 air loops (VP) and 8 columns with 2 nakidami (C2N).
5th row: We alternate 9 air loops (VP) and 10 columns with 2 nakids (C2N).

6th row: Alternate
11 air loops (VP),
4 columns with 2 nakidami (C2H) in the base of the previous row columns, 11 VP,
We pass 2 columns of the previous row and knit 4 C2H (remember the designations - four columns with two navigations) in the base of the last four rapport columns of the previous series (Rapport is a repeated part of the pattern),
At the end of a number of 5 VI, we combine the last with the arc from the VP associated at the beginning of the row, the column without Nakid.
7th row:

15 columns with 2 nakidami (C2N) under the arch of the air loops of the previous row (i.e. the hook we introduce under the arch from the VP),
5 VP,

At the end of the row, tie 6 VP and connect them with the beginning of a row of a column without Nakid.
Drew attention to the sign * in recording? This means that knitting a rapport described between two * , you need to repeat several times (instead of the word "we alternate", which I used in the description of knitting 3-6th rows).
8th row:
* 6 VP,
A column with two Nakida (C2H) in the base of the first column of the previous series,
