Requirements and conditions of installation
When choosing the optimal place to install a flow gas water heater in the bathroom, it is necessary to comply with the requirements specified in the regulatory documents, otherwise gas services can recognize your actions illegal. Here is the list of the most important rules at which the installation in the bathroom is allowed:
- The gas column cannot be placed on the wall covered with a combustible finishing material;
- The column should be located at a distance of at least 150 mm from furniture and side walls;
- A recovery tube must be supplied to the speakers installed in closed boxes (for example, drywall niches or special cabinets).
Also, the gas workers may have claims if the requirements that are almost impossible to carry out the residents of standard urban apartments are violated:
- the room in which the column is located must be an area of at least 15 m2;
- In this room, the window should be the opening window, the area of which is at least 0.45 m2.
