One of the oldest types of applied arts - the painting on the stone was widely used in the modern interior. Painting on the plaster allows you to show the creative potential of the master, create a unique design element, underlining the style and character of the owner of the house.
There are several options for applying drawing on plastered walls:
- Fresco - painted with water colors for raw plaster. Understanding all the advantages of this decor method, it is possible only if the master compliance with some conditions:
- To create a pattern on the wall, only a special artistic plastic mass is used, consisting of hazed lime, brick crumb, crushed hemp and linen threads. It is this combination of materials that allows you to get the most durable image of the picture on the wall. Brick crumb absorbs water paints, and the threads and hemp prevent the image cracking on the plaster;
- The surface for applying paints does not require alignment (irregularities provide a better compression of materials);
- The process of creating a picture is possible only on raw plaster (otherwise, ready-made moments will have to be removed and start a new job).
To work on the painting of raw plaster passed the most quickly, the alleged sketch is drawn in advance on Watman. Then the drawing is cut into separate parts, each of which is applied to the wall. The outline is transferred to the plastered surface.
The end result of crude plaster differs with transparent, light images, air contours, unobtrusive view.
- Alsecco - painting on dry plaster. For work, the master chooses special paints created on water, raw eggs and adhesive composition. It is such a composition that provides the maximum stability of a wall pattern to negative external manifestations (humidity, sharp change of temperature regime). Most often, Alseccoo technique is used to decorate the facades of the building.
Painting on dry plaster is distinguished by some moments:
- Work does not require a rush. On the dry surface of the plastered walls can work as one and at the same time several masters;
- Before starting work, the plastered wall is necessarily pumile and smeared with water slightly;
- Natural materials included in the composition of the paints, allow you to paint the walls of children's rooms, bedrooms;
- The colors of the paints needed for painting on dry plaster differ density, brightness of shades. The resulting images on the wall last time retain their initial appearance, do not appear, do not fade;
- Color density allows you to clearly register the smallest details of the picture.

Choosing a method for decorating the wall of Alsecco. It is worth a very carefully referring to the image plot. This decor technique is performed only by a highly qualified specialist, which is undoubtedly reflected in the cost of the picture on the wall. It is impractical to decorate the placement of painting on the wall (giving up a lot of money for work) so that after a short time it is removed.
A distinctive feature of painting on dry plaster is the ability to create a volumetric, multifaceted shades. The master lays out an additional layer of plaster (no more than two millimeters) after the contour (no more than two millimeters) after the contour is trying, the artist draws the image from a common background and ending with the protruding details.
