At the Moscow Urban Forum, students of HSE presented their layout. It was conducted for the construction of housing construction in Moscow for 100 years. Used period from 1920 to 2010.
The study of the evolution of housing development allowed students to develop a fascinating project, which attracted public attention. It reflects the evolution of technologies, the cultural and political period for the time interval. As a result of the study, 8 buildings chose. The most bright and memorable representatives of the "House on the legs" and "House of Narkomfin".
To create your own prototype, students used various trends that are in the design process, or have already been implemented. The project is a complex that perfectly fit into one quarter. Development size 100 150 meters. Similar blocks are already available in Moscow.
The project is not a final option. Depending on the number of residents, it may change. In the center of the quarter opens a wide yard. All commercial industries are located above it. They are made of wooden panels and concrete. These materials were chosen not easy. Currently, several wooden skyscrapers are being built around the world. Such an architectural approach, the authors wanted to attract the public to environmental construction in a major city.
Each house is intended for different purposes: seven of the eight buildings are used as housing for renting or shopping, and the remaining acts as a hostel. . Such a distinction will allow different layers of the population to choose the best option. All high-rise buildings are equipped with an additional space on the lower floors. It can be used for any commercial purposes, for example, to use as a rental point or open a good restaurant.
Students are not going to stop at what has been achieved and plan to implement a real scale project. They have a lot of time consuming work, which may be embodied.
