Embossing is a method of applying an image to a certain material (most often typographic products) with a stamp or cliche. One of its varieties is a congregation - with their own hands can be performed at home.

We master the technique
At home, embossing cannot differ much intricateness, but also has the right to exist. To perform embossing with their own hands it will take the equipment:
- foil;

- knife;
- a hammer;
- Stamps.
Stamps can be performed independently (from steel or aluminum sheet) and make any image on them, or use ready.

Attach a heated cliché, hit the hammer on it. If embossing turned out to be not deep enough, the cliché will have to heat up and also to perform embossing in the same place several times until the desired result is reached.
If you wish, perform color embossing, you must use foil. Melt the wax in the dishes (to prevent its solidification, add to the mass of turpentine) and mix it thoroughly. Apply a thin layer on the basis and let dry. After apply watercolor paint on it, in a mixture with a protein of eggs and a dental powder. Then heighten the cliché and put the foil with paint to the place where the pattern will be. Press the cliché tightly to the foil and hit the hammer on it.
Do not hurry, the paint on the foil should "feel" the temperature of the stamp.
