Filimonovsky painting is one of the types of folk creativity from the Tula region, namely from the village of Filimonovo, where the pottery was actively developed. Clay in these places is very plastic and fat. Initially, it is black and blue, and after firing it becomes white or a little pink. The masters did dishes, craftsmen - whistle toys. The resulting clay products painted in a special way with yellow, red and green stripes.
Filimonovskaya toy is distinguished by its elongated forms. All animals are dogs, deer, goats, roosters, horses - have long necks and thin legs.
