It is quite difficult to pick up for the crumbs comfortable clothes in size, because all the kids are very different, but everything is equally beautiful! This cute overalls of a soft fleece fabric will suit children from birth to nine-month-old age.
How to sew overalls for a newborn? The first thing worth paying attention is the quality of the fabric. It should be not just pleasant to the touch and warm, but safe to health. The natural material is perfect. So that the model looked more interesting, take the fleece with different parts by the parties: smooth and darous.
For tailoring, you will need:
- 2 yards (about 1.9 m) fleece fabric;
- durable cotton threads in tone;
- 1 or 2 small magnetic rivets.

Before starting work, the fabric is desirable to wrap and dry - then it will give the desired shrinkage and will become softer, and the fearful fleece will additionally "flies". During the sewing, both sides of the fabric are used for the face, and for inside. To distinguish, you can call them differently - for example, a smooth and fluffy side. Punches are standard - in half astimeter or even a little less, as you are more convenient.
Adjustment
To start, you need a children's semi-overalls pattern. Print and cut images as indicated on the photo example.
If it is necessary that the pattern of baby jumpsuit from the fleece increases in size, add the length of the body, cutting the part along the "Lengthen Here" line and inserting a suitable cut. The size of the segment is determined as follows: 11 inches (about 28 cm) in length and so much width as required to supplement.
On this example, I took 3 strips of 2 inches wide.
When you insert one added strip in the front template along the "Lengthen Here" line, the segment will be placed too high - it must be trimmed.

Take a line right through the inserted part and cut off. Repeat with other details.
To increase the width of the circuit, the same, only parts of the pattern along the line "Widen Here" are cut. The stripes are also cut out with a length of 11 inches, but the width should be 14 part from the one that you want to add.
Insert into the front template, firing the segments.
To increase the length of the legs and the handles of the overalls, the strips are still cut out. Strip width - as much as you want to add to the template, and the length is so that the width of the most part is. Example is added 1 inch.
The cut separately is applied to the bottom of the legs and cut the edges on one line with the pattern.
