Kaleidoscope is a toy that many people remember since childhood. She always manified her interesting and unusual patterns. In this master class, we suggest you to collect your kaleidoscope. Materials
To work, you will need:
- metal pipe;
- Hoven for metal;
- sandpaper;
- bolts, 3 pcs.;
- Glass lens;
- drill;
- paper and paste for polishing;
- plastic washer;
- glue for solid materials;
- Long mirror strips;
- Adhesive tape.
Step 1 . Initially, you will need to prepare a piece of aluminum pipe for this project. From the source cut a part of about 20 centimeters with a length. Metal burgers at the cut place are treated with sandpaper so that the pipe surface is perfectly smooth.
Step 2. . Rates from the edge of the pipe 5 mm, drill 3 holes equidistant from each other. In diameter, they must fit selected bolts.
Step 3. . After the holes are drilled, be sure to send bolts in them. Ensure the accuracy of your calculations and, if necessary, either expand the holes, or change the bolts to larger fasteners.
Step 4. . Treat the surface of the pipe sandpaper. Take paper with large grains and after moving to a small caliber sandpaper. Processing the pipe, polish it.
Step 5. . A hole on the kaleidoscope, in which you will look, you need to close the plastic washer. It must correspond to the diameter of the pipe.
To start, apply glue directly on the pipe, attach a plastic puck to it, wait until the glue becomes viscous and only after that carefully, but highly press the items to each other.
Step 6. . After drying the glue into the pipe, send a lens, removing the protective coating in advance.
The lens should also correspond to the diameter of the pipe.

Step 7. . Laps of the mirror using adhesive tape. Lock in the form of a triangle. Insert this element into the pipe. Please note the triangle from the mirror must lay down the edges of the pipe enough.
Step 8. . Send a glass ball into the pipe and fix it on the edge of the pipe with bolts. Do not tighten them too much so that the glass does not burst.
Step 9. . You can replace the ball in the future with small transparent, plastic cylindrical jars with covers. You can send anything: from sequined and pieces of paper to the stationery buttons.
