The pirate knife from the cardboard is perfect for the costume. It can be done quite strong enough, so that the child can safely play with him, while he will not be lit a knife and will not pose other children.
Materials
To make a cardboard pirate knife with your own hands, prepare:
- cardboard;
- paints;
- glue pistol;
- chopsticks of hot glue;
- palette for mixing paints;
- handle;
- scissors;
- brush;
- brass buttons and fasteners;
- Wands for ice cream.
Step 1 . In the palette we mix paint. For the manufacture of a knife, paints of gray and black colors will be needed.
Step 2. . Pen on a piece of cardboard. Picture of a pirate knife blade. Make two copies, reflecting their mirror.
Step 3. . Cut the depicted blades of a pirate knife.
Step 4. . The front sides of the blade halves paint gray paint and leave them to complete paint drying.
Step 5. . Draw halves of a pirated knife handle. They also need to be depicted in mirror reflection. Details cut out.
Step 6. . The front sides of the handles paint black paint and leave them until complete drying.
Step 7. . To one of the front sides of the pirated knife handle with hot glue glue brass rivets.
Step 8. . To connect the handle and the blade of a pirate knife and at the same time make a knife rush to it from the inside of four wands for ice cream.
Step 9. . Glue apply on the open side of the wands for ice cream. Glue the second halves of the blade and knife knobs.
Step 10. . The knife handle in the upper and lower part will additionally fasten with brass clamps on both sides.
Pirate knife is ready!
