So, lately, very popular among the masters, sewing clothes elements, such as the Viking Helmet. We will talk about it in this article. Such an accessory will perfectly complement the child's suit or serve as an excellent decoration for the room.
Knit helmet
The process of manufacturing a hat for young Viking can be traced on the embroidery example.
In order to make such a thing of clothing, we will need yarn about 200 grams and a hook.
Let's start with the design of the horns. We make 28 air loops and form a ring, then I will climb about 15 rows. Subsequent four rows are in such a scheme: 3 connecting columns (SS) - 22 fail-3 s. In subsequent rows, we make a burning in such a scheme (a total of 24 columns should remain):
- 3 ss - 10 fails - 11 failures - 3 ss;
- 3 SS - 10 fails - 10 failures - 3 ss;
- 3 ss - 9 fails - 10 failures - 3 ss;
- 3 ss - 9 fails - 9 fails - 3 ss.
In the next four rows, we make 3 ss, then 18 will fail and finish 3 ss. We do in the next two rows of 1 grade. And there are still three rows (3 ss - 16 failures - 3 ss). We form a bend: 3 ss - ISP - 3SS - 12 fails - 3ss. We again make a gravel in two rows. Further layer is providing 1 SS - 3 fails - 3 ss - 8 fails - 3 fails - 1 ss, and subsequent 1 ss - 3 fails - 3 ss - 11 fails - 1 ss. And you are presented to further knitting scheme:
- 1 SS - 3 fails - 3 ss - 8 TBI - 2 failures - 1 SS - should remain 18 columns;
- 4 fails - 3 ss - 11 failures;
- 4 ISP - 3 SS - 6 UBS - 1 TBF - 2 failures - 16 columns remain;
- 4 SBS - 3 ss - 5 fails - 1 fail-to-1 TBF - 14 columns;
- 11 SBI - 1 fail-to-fail, 12 columns remained;
- 1 UBF - 9 fails - 1 fail-to-10 tbsp.

Then we reduce every second column, in the next row two more loops and end the job.
Next, we need to tie a hat; Ring: Surrive 3 rows of ISP, and you can bind to SS. Girth rings like a cap. Stripe through the head wide in 2 rows and we are tied. Form detail: | ___ |, Width, like a strip. Another detail for horns: girth, like horns, height 3 rows. Rivets: 6 VP, connect to the ring, then in one loop we bind two tbsp.
We work with paper
Also, a helmet for young viking can be made of paper, most often use cardboard.
Take one big cardboard box, multi-colored tape white, brown and gray colors, a knife, a glue gun, a measuring tape and for horns, use polystyrene foam.
From the box, cut the strip of a height of 10-15 cm, and the width is the girth of the head. On the one hand we form cloves. Using this technique, the helmet will look like a dome.
We glue the cloves in the center with a glue gun.
Bottom wrap the workpiece with gray tape.
Cut two blanks from the cardboard in the form of diadems, as shown in the photo below, and glue their edges with each other.
The data of the workpiece serve as the basis for the horns and therefore attach them to the slope with the help of a glue pistol on the sides.
Take another rectangular piece of cardboard and draw a face on it, namely the eyes, as shown in the picture.
Cut.
Then draw the bridge and glue it to the workpiece.
Bonding the dome and facial blank.
From the rectangle draw the back, cut out and glue to the slope.
We also draw another detail, cutting it out and glue to the rear.
Cut a pair of strips and glue to the top of the dome.
