The configuration of most cars do not provide for the presence of cup holders. Many car owners acquire them after buying a car if there is a need. Materials
To make the cup holder with your own hands, prepare:
- PVC pipe connectors with a diameter of 80 mm, tapering downwards;
- Plastic connectors for a power outlet, with a diameter of 80 mm;
- drill;
- ring drill suitable diameter;
- sandpaper;
- glue;
- silicone sealant;
- cardboard;
- scissors;
- Thin marker;
- Lubes.
Step 1 . First of all, we need to modify the gearbox console. To do this, it is better to remove it on the working surface using the annular drill and drove cut two connectors for cup holders.
Before drilling, be sure to accommodate the holes of the holes with a cardboard pattern. Between the holes, leave a small gap, somewhere 1.5 cm. Templates also make yourself, applying a pipe to the cardboard and circles it on an external circle with a marker.
Step 2. . Insert the pipes into the holes and pigeon the connectors below them. Separate the edges of the cuts of sandpaper.
Step 3. . With plastic connectors for outlet pads cut the side sides. They will not be needed in this work. From the reverse side of the pipe insert the remaining plastic circle.
