Plaid Crochet from two-color round motifs. Master Class

Good afternoon dear friends!

Here again, the calendar autumn came. Many regions are cold and rainy, probably. Only in our areas there are unprecedented abnormal heat.

But a little more, and the house will be cold, and then we will need a warm plaid.

I prepared for you several ideas of knitted plaids - and crochet, and knitting needles. Today I will show you a plaid crochet master class.

I liked the unusual two-color round and eight-marched motifs in this blanket.

I tried to link the motives, but it didn't work yourself on my own master, since it is very inconvenient to photograph such a motive in the process of knitting, because here you need to see an element not just from above, but how and where to correct the hook. So as pictures, I used screenshots from the video for knitting such a plaid.

You can of course look only video, I think it will help many. But someone needs and describe in Russian.

To knit plaid you can use any yarn anywhere. The hook is desirable to take the room thoroughly than usual so that it is more convenient to knit and the product was soft, loose, and not tightly pulled.

Color Choose at your request and taste, you can use different remains of yarn. But it seems to me that it is best to look at the plaid, in which white color is attended. He is so elegant!

Knitting Round Motive Plaid Crochet

Green shirts are taking 4 air loops, closed in the ring.

1st row: 4VP, * 1C1N, 1VP *. In total, there should be 8 elements. We connect the last loop with the third VP, recruited at the beginning of the row. Do not break the thread, only pull the long loop, so that nothing is blocked when knitting with different color.

2nd row: We attach the yarn of pink in the ring.

Please note that we attach the yen at the end of the first row, but under the ring, and on it, knit the second row is similar to the first, introducing a hook between the first-row columns. At the end of the row, when connecting the last looping with the 3rd loop, scored at the beginning of the row, the long loop of the green color, which remained from the knitting of the 1st row, should be in front.

It turns out like this: green and pink row are related from one base.

Pull the long pink loop, go to knitting green yarn.

3rd row. Exterior loop pull up to the hook and knit as follows: first Introduce the hook under the air cover of the 1st row, stretch the thread through the hook loop,

3VP, 1C1N to the same first row

2VP, 2C1N in each next first row air loop. The loops and pink colors do not affect, they remain aside.

You probably have already understood when knit green yarn, the hook we introduce into the lower green row, and the rose yarn - in the bottom pink. At the same time, the first column knit over the second column of the previous series, and the latter is in the air loop. So the effect of the spiral is obtained.

4th row: knit burgundy thread is similar to the 3rd row, the hook we introduce under the 2nd row air loops.

5th Row: Similar to the 3rd, but knit already three columns with Nakid (the first column over the second column of the 3rd row and two columns with an attachment, introducing a crochet under the air loop of the 3rd row) and 3VP between them.

6th row: knit pink yarn is similar to 5th row.

And then you knit a round motive, gradually adding in each row one column and one air loop that is green, then a pink yarn. That is, in 7 and 8 rows of 4 C1N and 4VP between them, in 9 and 10 - m - 5 C1H and 5VP.

At the end of knitting threads, cut and hide tips from the wrong side. I usually do it with a crochet, stretching the thread under the walls of the loop. And you can insert a thread into a needle and make several stitches from the inside.

The drawing will be obtained from the front side, with the inside it is completely different and not very beautiful.

You can leave the motifs in such a round form, to associate the amount you need for the plaid and then sew motives among themselves, placing in a checker order.

Transformation of the round motive in the octal

In the video master class Plaid Crochet, it is proposed to make the motifs of an eight-marched form.

For this, the motive must be tied up as follows:

Attach the thread of the green color under the second column of the 9th row (or we continue to knit, without breaking the thread in the 9th row), 3VP, 2S1N at each next 9th row column (in 3 and 4th), 3VP, C1H, Introducing the hook again in the 4th column of the 9th row, C1N in the 5th Stage and C1N under the air loop of the 9th row. At the same time, a row of pink is behind knitting.

Then knit 6 C1N under an arch of air loops of the 9th row, but a row of pink in this case is in front of knitting.

And so on, knit a row to the end: 3C1N, 3VP, 3C1N, 6 C1N.

So it turns out even eight sides and eight corners.

The motives located at the edges of the plaid must only be tied up on half, and in motifs for the corners of the plaid - only the fourth part.

Round motive can be done differently. Knitting is the same as described above, but first pink knitting ahead, and then when knitting 6 columns - rear. It turns out just another color effect.

Knitting a small square motive

To assemble the blanket from eight-marched motifs, you will need to still fill the emptiness with small squares.

The beginning of knitting square motive is similar to knitting a round motive. Similarly, knit three rows of green and pink yarn.

4th row: give the motif square shape, linking its green yarn as follows:

3VP for lifting, 1c1n in the same loop of the base, 2VP, 2C1N in the next column of the previous row, 2 failures under the arch of the VP, 2SBN in the base of the two columns of the previous row, 2SBN under the arch and then knit the next corner (2c1n, 2VP, 2C1N) . It will turn out 4 corners and 4 smooth sides.

All related motives are stitched with a needle with a thread.

On the perimeter, a ready-made plaid is enough to tie with columns without an ingredient, you can make some uncomplicated simple kaima.

But the source of the idea:

Let me remind you that on the blog there is another master class knitting the original blanket from the motifs - intertwined rings. I wonder if anyone already tied this?
