How to make a desk lamp with a wooden base (master class, photo)

For the manufacture of a table lamp with your own hands you will need:
- 2.5 meters of a two-core cable (in our case in a transparent braid)
- Cartridge with switch
- Incandescent lamp (it is desirable to choose an unusual form lamp)
- 50x100 mm board (sizes may differ, it all depends on the size of the lamp)
- Flange with a hole under 3/4-inch pipe
- 100 mm 3/4-inch treadmate
- adapter with 3/4 per 1 inch
How to make a table lamp
Split the board with a cross section of 50x100 mm per 4 segment of the desired length. In our case, the length of the segments was 220 mm. Sketch can be covered with a verse or paint the desired color. Spread the plate with joinery glue and secure them with clamps.
Collect flange, pipe and adapter together. Metal parts can be painted or left as it is.
Drill the hole at the bottom of the back wall of the wooden base. The diameter of the hole is selected in accordance with the cable cross section.
Stretch the cable through the base and metallic rack
Connect the cable to the cartridge with the switch. Insert the cartridge into the adapter and lock it there. For this, it is enough just to press on the cartridge, and it will enter the adapter tightly.
