I have a small selection of photos of unusual carpets and rugs for you. I constantly collect different interesting ideas for comfort, I especially like the original unusual things. To tell separately about each of these unusual rugs would probably be bored, so I decided to combine them all in one place.
Unusual carpets on the floor not only the comfort will create, but they will give individuality to the interior, and many of the proposed options can be tried with their own hands.

At one Milan exhibition of interior items, a carpet in the form of scrambled eggs created by the Italian designer Valentina Audrito was presented. Visitors to the exhibition with great pleasure were lying on the squirrels, putting their heads on the yolk.
And German Creative Studios Flachbild invented carpets in the form of a piece (a piece of diameter from 1 to 5 meters) sausages of different varieties: from amateur to salami. Carpets are made of pure wool.
Designers for the embodiment of their ideas use a varied material.
Especially appreciated felt and felt for their practicality.
Norwegian designer Ksenia Mavafagh pathesized the carpet in the form of a masonry. These pebbles are made from the felt felt.
From the functional felt, you can make bright multicolored mats, connecting parts using lightning. And to wash this convenient in parts.
And you can make a carpet in the form of a pack of colored pencils.
There are even leather carpets. For example, such a designer idea of an Italian firm. All leather elements of this carpet are connected manually into a single integer.
Rachel Denny from the United States decided to use ordinary female gloves for an unusual carpet.
And this is already a fantasy of ordinary people: a carpet of socks. Hope from new ones.

Unusual carpets and rugs can be made of old jeans. On the presented photo of a carpet from the labels alone from jeans. They are coat on a typewriter on a denim fabric or stitched by hand.
Especially popular material for carpets and rugs became twine. And not only rugs. I knitted a casket from the twine. It turned out interesting.
The carpet from the twine does not have to knit. The cord twisted with parts with large and small rings or other shapes and is glued to a solid foundation in a certain order.
But that's not all! Material for carpets can even serve as a spike from trees.
And the Dutch designer Ivette Leduk came up with a carpet, imitating spice sacquet. An unusual carpet was created from a soft darous material and fits perfectly into a modern interior.
Here are also such ideas of woolen carpets:
- in the form of a moon created by the designer Martin Mostbek to the 40th anniversary of the landing of astronauts on the moon,
- and a rectangular carpet with perforation effect.
By the way, I came the thought of such an interesting unusual rug with my own hands to do: Tie with crochet! One part is the columns without a nakid, and the second - from openwork motifs. We have a selection of schemes of square motifs.

Rugs of an unusual form
In addition to our usual round and rectangular can make mats of an unusual form, and completely anyone, like these blots.
Here is applied to crochet shortened rows. For example, we knit several circles, then some of the reverse rows, again in a circle and so on. The shape of the rug may turn out completely unexpected.

And finally, an interesting idea that I especially like is unusual visible mats. Although the unusual is only that these mats are associated in the form of a semicircle.
