My mother, slowly brought the house to our house different "utility" - frying pan, irons, dishes ... - Mom wise man and of course I understood that at some point my hands will take away for all this. So it happened! A raging wife has grown its plumbiness and has become more flexible and "home" :))
But it is time to return to the ironing board.
Recently, it was already scary to look at it - the fabric in divorces from the scale of the iron, wung on bends and somewhere there are even holes, and still all sorts of glue and thermal permissions pushed their traces. From this itching on the board was not only not pleasant, but also dangerous - divorces were imprinted on the fabric I stroked. I stroke on her I stopped and did it on the table, which is very uncomfortable, since the table is always busy and before ironing, it was necessary to clean it, wipe, shove ...
And what to say - ironing board item is necessary. And I decided that it was time to finish with this uncomfortable ironing!
It is necessary to give only time an hour and drag the ironing board! Here there may be arguing, which will say - easier to sew / buy a case. I agree, but!

1. "Native" cloth ironing board is that it is necessary to get rid of it! Divorces from it can go to the case.
2. I wanted to compact the ironing board under the fabric, in order for its edges to become softer (there were no clear lines from the size of the ironing board, for example, when ironing bed linen)
All remake cost me at 280 !!! rubles and hour of work.
So we need one and a half meters long and 45 cm width fabric, such as cotton as in my case.
1.5 meters of batting (80 cm width) or any other seal, such as foam rubber. Vatin is cheap and soft - chose it.

It is better to make a knife with a sharp and short blade. And even better by male hands. This most difficult operation and my husband performed for me
Under the old rag, it turned out to be old and sooooo loose foam
Throwing thoroughly, and we shift the fabric to a new one and supply chalk contour
I cut the fabric with a 2-minute intake + 3 cm around the perimeter with the calculation to a thicker seal.
Now we fold in half batting and cut it out
The photo shows that the batting is already carved - everything is right - when we will be stolen, then the fabric will be converted, and the batting is not.
Now install the ironing board centered
and starting from the middle, flexing the edges of the fabric inside inserting brackets (it also did a husband - I did not have enough strength)
Now that the corners do not shrink all extra batting and fabric (but do not forget that the fabric will need to be converted)
