Member №14, Rainbow Dash costume. Competition "New Year's costume 2019" made by hand.
Good afternoon, our family wants to take part in the competition with its pony suit "Rainbow Dash" (DESH rainbow) from the cartoon "My Little Pony: Friendship is a miracle."
The costume sewed along with a grandmother for the daughter of Irina 6 years old on New Year's Masquerade in kindergarten.
- The basis of the sweaters with the sleeve to the elbow and shorts, the material is 100% polyester. Unfortunately, the exact name of the fabric did not remember.
- From the same material, "hooves - stockings" on the feet. This is a separate part of the suit, fixed on the rubber band above the knee.
- The tail and mane are made of fate of different colors. The tail will be sewn to the shorts of layers. For the mane chopped fatin on the stripes and tied to a hair band.
- The stripes did not lie and clung to each other, but for us it was like that - Lochmato and it was necessary.
- I made wings from felt, painted it with blue paint for the fabric, but the technology did not fully observe, reduced the process, so the wings turned out lilac. They are attached to the suit at the expense of lipuchk.
- The ears fastened on the rim, inside the same felt.
- Cute-brand-zipper on the chest printed in the photo cabin on self-taking, but stuck additionally on super-glue, as she did not hold on the fabric.
