Preliminary stages of montage
Many beginner masters have a question about how to make a round table on their own. It is believed that such a form of tabletop is complex in manufacture. But if you know some nuances and tricks of the upcoming work, even a novice carpenter will cope with the assembly. First of all, you need to decide on the design of future furniture. - solid table top;

- transverse strips (ribs) - 2 pcs;

This will be enough in order to securely fix all the elements between them and do not damage the table lid. From the same sheet cut the transverse strips.
The legs are made from a bar with a cross section of 12x5 cm. If you take a standard bar, the length of which is 3.5, then from one billet, you can get 4 legs of 76 cm. This size is considered optimal.
For the processing of parts and installation of the table, the following tools will be needed:
- Electrode and a set of drills designed for wood work;
- electrolovik;
- Grinding machine or special nozzle on a drill;

First you need to cut down all the blanks for assembling the table. Experienced joiners advise each of the elements to be pre-processed in 4 reception. First polish the wooden surface, then lay it out. And after drying, repeat the operation.
The fact is that even after a very thorough primary grinding, wood fibers can begin to strain under the layer of varnish. It can spoil the appearance of the table, and in the future, burrs are formed on the surface. If you are going to do not lacquer furniture, but to cover it with a mourn, then the procedure needs to be repeated 3 times.
After the workpiece is completely dried, you can start collecting the table. The general assembly scheme is shown in Fig. 3.
First, the legs are fixed to the support disk. Ordinary screws can be used as secrets.

But it is wiser to take not standard, but elongated mounting (0.5x18 mm). The legs are fastened with 4 bolts. Pre-prepare nests for confirmates. First, the plane is drilled, and then the end. In the first case, the diameter of the socket must be 0.8 cm, and in the second - 0.5 cm.
Next, a tabletop and transverse crossbars are formed. The diameter of these parts depends on the dimensions of the standard workpiece. The length of the conventional plywood is 1.5 m. Therefore, the outer diameter of the reference element will be 128 cm, and the inner - 104 cm. The legs are installed with a flat part inside. Accordingly, the dimensions of the bar will be 12x106 cm.
Finish trim table
If you want to use cross-mounting planks, then in the workpiece you need to form in advance the appropriate grooves. The thickness of the jumper should not be less than 2-2.5 cm, otherwise the bar in this place can be broken. But for the garden table, it is quite enough to fasten the jumpers.

After the table is completely assembled, and the glue in the nodes of the fasteners dry, you need to decorate the table. As mentioned above, it can be selected, covered with a mourn or paint.
