The designer from Italy Aldo Cibic studied the relationship of light and desire. The result was the LOU collection for the Venini fashion brand.
"Work for Venini was an attempt to embody the idea of uniting the lamp with a vase. It turned out the product in the form of a vase having a metal base. From above there are multi-colored covers of gentle tones with a peak of red. The subject may seem very familiar, but you are unlikely to remember where you could see them earlier. Saturation of colors, when the light is turned off, it will be pleasantly surprised, but when the electricity is filmed, the colors will be saturated, and you can evaluate the quality operation of glass winds, "says Aldo Cibic.
Collection models are immediately a vase and a lamp. Their combination is the main accent. When they burn, all the attention is sent to the unusual tone of the glass, when they are turned off - the main thing is the texture of the product.
Three items are made by hand venetian glass windows. The material was the white opal glass, it was invented in the distant 15th century while trying to imitate the porcelain. The tops of the red glass covers gives objects oriental style.
Venini Almost a century produces decor objects and lamps from Venetian glass. They use traditional technologies, but often experiment, attracting famous designers to joint projects.
